A collaboration with Needs Studio, Tidal is a die-cast aluminum luminaire that features a distinct ring shape with soft, subtle curves designed to mimic the motion of waves—with one end wider than the other to depict both high and low tide.
The unique composition allows for the lamp to shift dramatically in perspective depending on its relation to the viewer, evoking intrigue and mystery. Tidal projects light downwards and upwards simultaneously, and its intensity can be adjusted via a dimmer controlled by the wall switch. The best-selling collection comes in four alluring finishes—Matte Black, Matte White, Extra Matte Champagne, and Terra Extra Matte—and two configurations that include ceiling-mounted and the new pendant version.
