Innovation Meets Artistry with Lodes’ Statement-Making Luminaires

Create an illuminating space for the ages with Lodes’ statement-making fixtures, ranging from cloud-like chandeliers to celestial-inspired ceiling lamps. Collaborating with creative brands and visionaries (think Paola Navone and Ron Arad), the family-owned contemporary lighting brand creates designs that seamlessly blend functionality and artistry, making captivating focal points for residential, commercial, and hospitality environments.

Random Cloud, by Chia-Ying Lee for Lodes, is an alluring play on the archetype of a chandelier. An evolution of Lodes’ Random Solo pendant, the luminous new iteration connects multiple glass pendants to a central canopy to form cloud-like clusters. The clusters consist of either 7, 14, 19, or 23 lights—various cut cable lengths allow for the resulting “cloud” effect. Each glass sphere—which measures 23 or 28 centimeters in diameter—features a 3W LED module hidden in silicon housing at the top that distributes light evenly and comes in seven colorways, including Glossy Smoke, Rose Gold, and Frosted White.

Croma is a dynamic floor lamp created in collaboration with multidisciplinary designer Luca Nichetto, inspired by the ‘quaver’ and ‘eighth’ musical notes, for which it takes its name. Croma has a slender frame that emits washes of light upward across the wall and ceiling, and is available in four unique finishes: two ombré, as well as solid white and black options. The metallic ombré effects fade from green to black and from bronze to nickel, the finish gradation a reference to how light can radiate upwards against a wall. The two matte shades, in white and black, have a textured finish that’s ideal for commercial settings.

Tidal—a collaboration with Needs Studio—is a fluid, oval-shaped ceiling lamp that captures the essence of celestial bodies, waves, and tides with its simple yet striking design. One side of the ceiling lamp is wider than the other, which shifts the lamp dramatically in perspective depending on its relation to the viewer. Tidal projects light downwards and upwards simultaneously, and is available in 45 and 75 cm sizes, ensuring the compositional capabilities are endless.

D-Burned is a striking new Diesel Living with Lodes suspension lamp that highlights material innovation through its iconic denim craftsmanship. The fixture introduces devoré denim to the world of lighting with the application of a signature technique frequently used by Glenn Martens in Diesel’s runway collections. The lamp is designed to filter light with an interplay of transparency, shadow, and raw materials, creating a sensory lighting experience that engages sight and feeling. Illuminated by a 360° light tube with soft diffused lighting and available in two standard sizes—60 cm and 120 cm—the lamp seamlessly blends decorative and functional elements to become a sophisticated focal point in any space.
