The Hemsley Lighting Programs has announced the commencement of the application process for the annual Hemsley Internship Program, now in its 40th year. This opportunity is a tribute to Gilbert’s legacy and aims to support burgeoning designers in their career initiation.
Applications will be open from January 1 to January 15, 2024, with interviews scheduled for late March 2024 in New York for selected finalists. Interested candidates are required to submit a cover letter, resume, a one-page statement outlining personal goals related to the internship, and three recommendation letters. No specific application form is needed beyond these submissions. Both digital and physical applications are accepted and must reach the designated addresses by January 15, 2024. Letters of reference can be either emailed directly or sent along with the application via mail.
This opportunity is exclusively available to US Citizens who have completed their undergraduate or graduate training, and it cannot be utilized for academic credit purposes.
