The International Landscape Lighting Institute (ILLI) is thrilled to open registration for the Fall 2024 Intensive Course (IC). Running from November 7-12, 2024, this premier event will be hosted at POSTOAK Lodge & Retreat in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This exceptional venue, nestled in the scenic Osage Hills, has been exclusively reserved for IC attendees, providing an immersive and focused learning environment.
Course Overview
The 5-day Intensive Course combines classroom lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on fieldwork to create a comprehensive learning experience. Attendees will engage in practical design sessions, where they can develop and execute mockups using an extensive range of equipment from leading manufacturers. This course is unique for its integration of fieldwork with expert guidance, ensuring participants gain valuable skills in design conceptualization, documentation, low-voltage system installation, and maintenance procedures.
Networking and Professional Growth
In addition to technical skills, the course offers exceptional networking opportunities. Participants will join a community of like-minded professionals and mentors who will be valuable resources throughout their careers. Advanced Photography Class
For those looking to further enhance their skills, the Advanced Photography Class will be held concurrently from November 9-12, 2024. Led by renowned lighting designer and photographer Tim Ryan, this class focuses on mastering low-light photography techniques. Participants will have the unique opportunity to photograph the mockups created during the IC course. The Advanced Photography Class costs $2,650, which includes tuition, meals, photo shoot sites, and hotel accommodations.
Registration and Costs
Registration for the Intensive Course is available at an early bird rate of $4,900 until June 15, 2024. After this date, the regular price of $5,200 applies. The fee covers tuition, meals, and hotel accommodations, though airfare is not included.
Cancellation Policy and Logistics
The cancellation policy offers a full refund minus a $100 fee for cancellations made by September 11, 2024. A 50% refund is available for cancellations between September 12 and October 10, 2024, with no refunds available after October 10, 2024. The closest airport is Tulsa International Airport (TUL), with a 15-20 minute Uber/Lyft/taxi ride to POSTOAK Lodge & Retreat.
