CARSON, Calif., February 24, 2026 – DMF Lighting, a leading architectural lighting manufacturer of premium modular LED downlighting systems, today announced the launch of its next generation A Series illuminated room signage, designed to further streamline installation and maintenance. The sleek, ADA-compliant sign is now equipped with an integrated dual-voltage driver and a discreetly hidden magnetic retention system within the faceplate for easy access to the driver and LED board directly at the wall opening, simplifying servicing and reducing maintenance time.
The A Series is thoughtfully designed with a customizable faceplate allowing vertical (Portrait) or horizontal (Landscape) orientation, with flexible text positioning in any of the four upper/lower corners. Designer may select from custom colors options to complement interior aesthetics across healthcare, multifamily, hospitality and higher education environments. Ideal applications including hospitals, senior living facilities, apartment and condominium communities, hotels, classrooms, dormitories and commercial buildings, among others.

The A Series modular design integrates the dual-voltage driver with the light engine and mounting plate, enabling direct line-voltage wiring to the sign. The fixture installs into standard 4-inch octagon (4O) and 4-inch round (4R) junction boxes or DMF’s fire-rated F4NC junction box. To learn more, watch the A Series installation video.
The wall-mounted rectangular sign features an ultra-slim ½-inch profile and measures 4 inches by 7.3 inches. Text is softly illuminated through a clear, diffused lens in a choice of 2700K or 3000K color temperatures. Font choices include traditional Helvetica or modern Proxima Nova. The standard faceplate color is Black, but designers can choose any custom color (RAL) to complement their project’s décor.
The 120/277-volt LED signage is offered with a superior 90+ coloring rendering index (CRI) with color variation kept within a 3-step MacAdam ellipse for unparalleled quality and consistency.
To streamline project timelines, the modular design allows the frame and electrical components to ship separately from the faceplate, reducing on-site storage needs and enabling phased installation.
Featuring Braille to meet ADA compliance, the A Series room sign also compliant with California’s Title-24 and ENERGY STAR® and is suitable for damp locations.
