Are you a worthy recipient or do you know someone who deserves to be recognized for what they have achieved in lighting? The 40 under 40 program for 2021 is open for nominations and will close on November 12th for nominators and November 19th for nominees.
The Awards have been active for five years with 200 recipients to date. Previously 40 under 40 was part of the Lighting Design Awards, which is no longer active. Filix Lighting, a past sponsor, has taken on the project and is working with the Light Collective for the class of 2021.

The 40 under 40 is a unique annual competition to select young and outstanding individuals who work in a creative capacity with the application of lighting in architecture. Nominations are accepted from international candidates under 40 and nominators must cite why the candidates are exceptional. Candidates should be passionate about lighting and display outstanding talent and potential and have demonstrable achievements in the field.
