Spectacular designs set within a jaw-dropping backdrop combine for a must-see visual feast at the new Hinkley showroom in the Historic Market Square building

Avon Lake, Ohio (October 7, 2021) – Hinkley, a leading designer and distributor of decorative lighting and ceiling fans, will unveil a sophisticated assortment of over 350 of the brand’s most innovative styles when its newest showroom opens on Saturday, October 16th at High Point Market in High Point, North Carolina. Standout pieces, including never-before-seen designs from the coveted collections of Fredrick Ramond, Lisa McDennon, and Galerie, as well as designer favorites from Hinkley’s Interior, Bath, Outdoor, Landscape and Ceiling Fan categories will be on display.

Located on the second floor of the legendary Historic Market Square building (#290), the new showroom features an 8,000-square-foot space that embraces the remarkable historical aspects of the structure, which was built in the early 1900’s. Authentic rustic wood floors and charming original brick walls unite with an unmistakably modern interior created with long-time partner and designer Lisa McDennon, infusing the space with a vibrant energy. “As we look ahead to celebrating our 100th anniversary in 2022, it wasn’t lost on us that this landmark building and Hinkley share the same space in history, an exceptional coincidence,” notes Hinkley President Jess Wiedemer. “Blending the best of old and new, progress and tradition, is a Hinkley signature. We’re looking forward while still honoring our heritage, which is rooted in thoughtful design, a passion for growth and a commitment to our customers.”

Hinkley style will be on full display with sleek product vignettes, cutting-edge materials, and dynamic design elements thanks to McDennon’s vision and the guidance of Ryan Kronbetter of DWA Architecture. Additionally, a unique collaboration with Rustbelt Reclamation, a custom furniture maker located in Hinkley’s hometown headquarters of Cleveland, Ohio, will feature custom sconces and portables created by Abie McLaughlin, a Senior Product Designer with Hinkley. Several furniture pieces designed by Rustbelt Reclamation specifically for Hinkley’s High Point showroom accentuate the refined industrial look of the space. The sconces and portable fixtures will be available for purchase as part of an exclusive limited release. Grayson Glass, Vice President of Rustbelt Reclamation, will also be on hand throughout the show.

“High Point Market is the largest home furnishing industry trade show in the world and a major component of our long-term commitment to design innovation, product quality, and a cohesive brand experience,” stated Wiedemer. “The entire Hinkley family is excited and honored to take this historic step forward as we look ahead to celebrating a century of style.”

The Hinkley High Point Showroom (Historic Market Square #290 ) will be open from Saturday, October 16th through Tuesday, October 19th from 8am to 7pm and Wednesday, October 20th from 8am to 5pm.
