The Fotografiska Photography Museum recently received a robust renovation in lighting design. Fotografiska is a museum focused on the world’s best photography. A former church, the museum celebrates photography as a haven for innovation, inclusivity, and free expression. Kugler Ning Lighting is the firm behind the lighting renovations and won an IESNYC Award of Excellence for their work on reinvigorating the museum. In the June issue of designing lighting (dl), we featured a story going in depth on the transformation of the museum. Now, an event will be held where attendees can learn from Kugler Ning about their experience lighting the museum and guides will be present to help cover the collection.
