Founded in Chicago in 1950 by Eero Saarinen and Charles and Ray Eames, GOOD DESIGN remains the oldest, and the world’s most recognized program for design excellence worldwide.

In November/December, the 71st GOOD DESIGN jury convened to select over 1,100 product designs and graphics from over 50 nations worthy of the GOOD DESIGN Award for their Design Excellence.

The Lambda pendant is an elegant and minimalist indoor lighting solution, that integrates seamlessly into office, residential or commercial environments. With a body comprised of extruded aluminum only 0.625” thick and a unique shape, Lambda offers direct / indirect light emissions, adjustable with its integral 0-10V dimming driver.

The indirect emission on top of the luminaire offers a linear spread, while the direct emission on the bottomis diffused. Small details such as no visible power cord maintains the minimalist idea without sacrificing function in the field. The power is in the suspension cable.

It is available in 4-, 6- or 8-foot lengths and 4 color temperature options. Lambda comes in 4 standard finishes — Black Suede, Bronze, Matte Silver, White Suede — and can be done in custom colors on request. Canopies available semi-recessed or surface mounted.
