The NLB Annual Lighting Forum Presents “WILD: Motherhood in the Workplace”

NASHVILLE – Under its Annual Lighting Forum program, the National Lighting Bureau (NLB) is hosting a discussion with Women in Lighting and Design on Wednesday (WILD), 2 MAR at 12:00 EST. Moderated by Kelly Roberts, Studio Director at WALD Studio and President of WILD, the panel includes:

  • Helen Diemer, Principal at The Lighting Practice
  • Andrea Hartranft, Principal at Hartranft Lighting Design
  • Tanya Hernandez, Vice President of Government and Industry Relations at Acuity Brands
  • Paula Martinez-Nobles, Principal at Fisher Marantz Stone
  • Nancy Stathes, President of Nanometer Lighting

The conversation will center around the working mother, one of the main causes of inequity for women in Lighting and beyond. The panel will address attrition, family leave policies, office and at-home support, financial impact, networking opportunities and more. They will also discuss how the recent conversations have impacted people’s attitudes and behavior towards this issue.
