The Diesel Living with Lodes line has been expanded to include Spring, a brand-new arm lamp. The versatile selection of objects resulting from the partnership between the historic Italian decorative lighting company Lodes and the international brand DIESEL, owned by the OTB Group, debuted in January 2021. Spring, available June 2022, is the latest creation of the two Italian brands.
Spring is an arm lamp, a classic reinterpretation by Diesel with a contemporary twist and a bold personality. The lamp is characterized by the tubular element of the metal arm that bends back on itself, creating a circle reminiscent of a coil spring.
The workmanship resembles the principle of a safety pin, making its line minimal and elegant, a distinctive look that recalls the world of fashion.
The circle obtained by bending the bar can be used to adjust the lamp’s position––it can rotate horizontally on the wall for almost 180°, or vertically up to almost 360° in the ceiling version. The lampshade rotates 360° allowing light to be directed as desired, offering multiple solutions for lighting the surrounding space.The light can therefore be directed upwards, downwards, or at the wall.
The large semi-circular metal lampshade has a contrasting opal white diffuser that softens the light, giving the lamp a contemporary look. Thanks to the shape of the hole in the back of the shade, a light glow is produced that tempers and softens the darkness of the space.
The Spring lamp completes the Diesel Living with Lodes collection with an unusual function that has a striking architectural impact.
Spring comes in wall and ceiling mounted versions. The wall mounted lamp is available in two different versions: large, with an arm over 2 meters long, and medium, with a shaft measuring over 1meter. Conversely, in the ceiling mounted version the light point is over 1 meter away from the ceiling.
The lamp is extremely versatile and can be rotated on itself from the socket either when wall-mounted, horizontally, or ceiling-mounted by directing the arm along the vertical axis. Available in a single Deep Black finish, Spring fully meets the needs of the user, who can direct the light at will by orienting the lampshade, equipped with an E27 bulb socket. In the wall-mounted version, Spring is fitted with a power cable positioned along the wall joint and equipped with a plug for ground connection.
The versatility of configuration and lighting solutions on offer make Spring an ideal solution in residential contexts such as kitchen living spaces, but also in hybrid spaces such as home offices or multifunctional spaces. In its larger version, Spring also lends itself to applications in large public spaces such as offices, co-working hubs or educational centers.
