I’m happy to announce I have a new partner with Ecosense lighting! Nydia Bonilla has just been hired to join the Ecosense team! (Don’t worry, rockstar Jayne Whitman isn’t going anywhere) Nydia is well known in the NYC lighting scene after her time with A-Light and Vibia. You probably remember her awesome mid-pandemic scavenger hunts throughout the city! Nydia brings experience in spec-grade lighting, a great attitude, and amazing responsiveness to the team, I can’t wait to work with her!
Nydia joins Ecosense at an exciting time. If you came to the SDA Showcase, you saw the debut of Trov 2.0 featuring the new auto-sensing dimming protocol. I don’t want to get too deep in the weeds with this post, but Trov 2.0 offered several streamlines to the physical design of the fixture as well as lighting performance upgrades which include better optics, warm dimming, color tuning, and finally RGBW.
We’re all gearing up for the launch of Trov 2.0 with samples and specification materials launching Q1 and shipping Q2 of 2023.
