Light Middle East 2023 provided many members of the Women in Lighting community the opportunity to network, collaborate and, for some, experience in-person interaction for the very first time. The Women in Lighting community had provided attending members hotel accommodations, show and award dinner/gala access, premium lounge facilities, and an unforgettable experience at the Aya immersive art show.
The show kicked-off with the first in-person Women in Lighting event. The gathering featured views of the Dubai skyline with members of Dubai’s lighting community and the WIL Team.
The second day of the show featured designers Cherine Saroufim from Lebanon, Momena Saleem from Pakistan, Dipali Shirsat from the UAE, Katia Kolovea from Greece, Dr. Dalal AlSharhan from Kuwait and Surbhi Jindal from India who presented their thoughts and experiences on socially inclusive design.
The final day of Light Middle East 2023 saw Magali Mendez, Grisell Herrera Fernandez and Ana Zuniga conclude the InSpotLIGHT program with a 90-minute workshop focused on preserving the light within us.
Members from 14 countries attended, travelling from Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.
