(April , 2023 – New York, NY) As the buzz continues to build around DIFFA By Design, May 21–23 at the Javits Center, DIFFA is pleased to announce some of the exceptional brands and designers that will create whimsical and thought-provoking installations in support of DIFFA’s cause. Likewise, the entertainment program is ramping up—it will offer a stunning display of talent set against the backdrop of multisensorial creations meant to transport the viewer into a world of innovation while giving back.

The 2023 lineup of event supporters includes beloved American paint brand Benjamin Moore, which returns this year as the Event Sponsor, and Platinum Sponsors Gensler & EvensonBest, Roche Bobois in collaboration with Rockwell Group, as well as HOK + Mohawk Group + Urban Office + Sven Nielson. Also returning this year are FLORIM, HDR, and Rockwell Group as Gold Sponsors. NYCxDESIGN and 200 Lex are the event’s 2023 Industry Sponsors. Creative Chef Studio & Soroteca, Singulart, and Western Sensibility + Focus Lighting round out the list of Bronze sponsors with Lucinda Surfaces serving as the Advocate Ticket Host and Shaw Contract as Friend Ticket Host. Thanks to a generous grant from the Angelo Donghia Foundation, the New York School of Interior Design, Parsons the New School of Design, and the School of Visual Arts will continue to support a younger generation design for good with student design teams set to create inspiring installations. “Alongside incredible momentum following a fantastic 2022, this year’s event promises to be an even richer experience for both the design industry and consumers alike thanks to our co-location with ICFF + WantedDesign Manhattan,” says Dawn Roberson, Executive Director at DIFFA. “With a star-studded entertainment program in the works, this will be an unforgettable experience. We are especially thrilled to announce charismatic dancer and performer, Elliott Lee Pucket—best known for his role on season 13 of RuPaul’s Drag Race—as our host for DBD 2023! A performance by the brilliant singing string quartet, Well-Strung will also take place along with some additional soon-to-be-announced talent. We’re excited to share even more details soon and continue to make this an event to remember.” 
 
In support of DIFFA’s mission, DBD’s worthy list of 2023 grantees include Ali Forney Center; Bridging Access to Care; Callen-Lorde Community Health Project; Hetrick-Martin Institute; Housing Works; GMHC; God’s Love We Deliver; Mother & Child Alliance; New York Community Trust; Planned Parenthood of Greater New York; Services and Advocacy for Gay Lesbian Bisexual & Transgender Elders, Inc., Visual AIDS for the Arts; and Voices of Community Activists and Leaders (VOCAL-NY). 
 
The much-anticipated DIFFA by Design Gala is also returning—with a surprise entertainment portion and auction to take place on Monday, March 22 from 6–10PM. Tickets to the Gala are $300 and may be purchased at https://2023DBD.givesmart.com—auction items may also be viewed and bid on at the aforementioned site. Visitors to the show can also expect a DIFFA pop-up shop. Tickets to DIFFA by Design and its events are available at diffa.org.
