The corridor tracing the path of Town Branch Creek, now an underground culvert running through downtown Lexington, Kentucky, is a central, busy one, but the adjacent high-speed streets made the corridor unsafe for pedestrians. Town Branch Commons has improved the corridor with public amenity spaces, traffic-calming roadways, and new lighting.
