designing lighting (dl) joins with the worldwide lighting design-architect-engineering-landscape architect professions and the lighting manufacturer industry in celebrating the 2023 International Day of Light.
Observed each May 16, this global observance calls attention to light’s fundamental role in our lives.
After the success of the International Year of Light 2015, a United Nations observance, the International Day of Light was established to provide an enduring follow-up to raise the profile of the science and technology of light.
Below is a showcase of earlier published content in dl covering multiple project sectors including entertainment, education, health, culture/arts, transportation, hospitality and sustainability.
