Washington – October 3, 2023 – The American Institute of Architects (AIA) is proud to announce the AIA Conference on Architecture & Design 2024 (AIA24), a premier event for architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) professionals. The 2024 event, under a new name, will be held in Washington, DC, June 5-8, 2024. AIA is broadening its educational offerings at the annual conference to include AEC professionals from all career stages and to include a more global perspective.
In its Call for Proposals, AIA solicited the best speakers and content for the AIA Conference on Architecture & Design. AIA24 will showcase ahead-of-the-curve educational content from a diversity of voices, career stages, and AEC industries. In addition, AIA now will be managing the popular architecture and construction tours.
AIA24 will also feature specific educational tracks and exhibit hall zones, simplifying the way attendees find their favorite sessions and plan their unique experience. The event will offer a range of educational, networking, and engagement experiences, making it the event to bring the entire firm for quality educational development and experience.
“We are excited to broaden the scope of the AIA Conference on Architecture & Design 2024, to include a more global perspective for AEC professionals from all career stages,” said EVP/Chief Executive Officer Lakisha Ann Woods. “We believe that changing the name of the conference will better align with AIA’s goals to provide engaging experiences for architects, designers, and the wider AEC industry to come together and collaborate.”
