Darryl Jackson has recently joined the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) as their Membership Manager. His role involves overseeing membership recruitment and retention strategies. With a background in finance and extensive experience in non-profit and association management, Darryl brings a wealth of knowledge to the position. He is certified in Diversity and Inclusion and focuses on four key areas: exposure, access, development, and recognition. Before joining IALD, Darryl held positions in various organizations, including the New York State Society of CPAs and the Institute of Management Accountants, where he played significant roles in membership acquisition and diversity initiatives. Darryl holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business and Economics and a Master of Business Administration. He is recognized as a Certified Association Executive and was listed among the top 100 most influential people in accounting by Accounting Today in 2022. Darryl’s expertise and dedication make him a valuable addition to the IALD team and the global lighting design community.
