Sterling Vineyards, founded in 1964 by Peter Newton, played a pioneering role in Napa Valley’s winemaking evolution, introducing Bordeaux-inspired red wines and producing California’s first vintage-dated Merlot in 1969. Its iconic architectural design, reminiscent of Mykonos, Greece, features the world’s sole winery aerial tram. In 2023, the winery underwent renovations, incorporating Acclaim’s Unity spectrum five fixture for exterior lighting, controlled by the Aria Wireless DMX system, enhancing its ambiance and flexibility for various occasions without the need for control wiring.
