Pont Neuf, spanning the River Seine at the Île de la Cité’s western tip, was commissioned by King Henry III in 1578 and completed in 1607. In addition, The bridge combines early Renaissance architecture with medieval functionalism, featuring sturdy stone construction, wide roadways, and semi-circular bastions. It also has 381 Mascarons (stone masks) and the equestrian statue of King Henry IV, making it an iconic Parisian landmark.
Pont Neuf has witnessed Paris’s history and development for centuries. GVA Lighting’s contribution aims to extend its artistic legacy, offering light and beauty to Parisians and admirers worldwide.
