The Salvador Series 3000 is specifically designed for the North American market to address the limitations of traditional lighting control systems prevalent in the US today. While the Salvador Series 1000 and 2000 cater to markets where the DALI standard is widely adopted (providing full compatibility with DALI D4i, DALI DT6, and DALI DT8), the US primarily relies on proprietary analog or 0-10V dimming systems, which are outdated and inefficient. Although DALI offers better dimming performance, it hasn’t gained widespread use in the US due to a lack of suppliers, components, and expertise for commissioning DALI systems.
The Casambi Salvador Series 3000 addresses these challenges by providing a very simple and efficient way to integrate wired luminaires into its wireless lighting control ecosystem, effectively leveraging the benefits of DALI and surpassing them with additional advanced features; ease of commissioning and seamless access to Casambi ecosystem partners.
