Share Your Expertise in designing lighting (dl)
At designing lighting (dl) magazine, we are committed to showcasing groundbreaking lighting projects, innovative trends, and expert perspectives in the lighting design community. As we embark on our 2025 editorial journey, we are seeking submissions from designers, architects, and industry professionals who are passionate about lighting design and want to share their projects, insights, or innovations with a global audience.
Our upcoming issues will feature a range of lighting projects, from houses of worship to healthcare facilities, museums, and beyond. Whether you have a completed project or a unique lighting concept, we invite you to contribute to our bi-monthly publication.
The February/March issue, just in time for distribution at LEDucation, will focus on lighting houses of worship.
In the April/May issue, to be distributed at LightFair, we turn out attention to the complexities of healthcare spaces.
The June issue will take a special look at exceptional residential lighting design.
In the August issue, we move from private to public spaces, highlighting street, area, and monument lighting design projects.
The October issue, with special distribution at IALD Enlighten Americas 2025 and NYControlled, will pay special attention to the intricate design in museum spaces.
And finally, in the December issue, we cover the topic of integration, shining the spotlight on lighting solutions that not only illuminates a space effectively but also interacts smoothly with other building systems and technologies.
We are particularly interested in successful and award-winning designs that push the boundaries of lighting, as well as new trends, technologies, and best practices shaping the future of the industry. Whether it’s an illuminating story behind your work, a project case study, or expert advice, designing lighting (dl) offers a platform to showcase your contributions.
To submit your project or article ideas, please email Editor Randy Reid with a brief description and any supporting visuals. We look forward to collaborating with you to inspire and inform the lighting design community.
