Non Random expands the Lodes catalogue with a suspension lamp that reinterprets the glass sphere through a more assertive design language, capable of defining a space and its identity. Designed to work with all the brand’s individual canopies, it introduces new compositional possibilities thanks to its flexible design, even in large-scale installations.
The sphere moves away from a sense of weightlessness to establish itself as a striking presence. Three diameters – 33, 38 and 43 cm – define an instantly recognisable volume, conceived as an explicit decorative feature, both individually and in multiple compositions, where repetition amplifies the elegance and visual impact of the spheres.
Inside the diffuser, a high-output LED light source ensures full and uniform illumination, delivering effective lighting while maintaining a high level of visual comfort. The polymer cap ensures the continuity of the sphere, matching the glass surface in the same finish.
Six finishes enhance the suspension lamp’s dramatic character. Alongside the Clear, Glossy Smoke and Glossy Bronze finishes already in the catalogue, the new metallic shades reinterpret the elegance of metals with a contemporary sensibility: from the dynamic, captivating warmth of Mandarin Orange to the soft, natural tones of Golden Sage, through to the enveloping depth of Deep Azure Steel.
Each finish interacts with light and surrounding materials, producing reflections and subtle tonal variations that reinforce the lamp’s presence.
Non Random can be used in single installations where the sphere’s proportions take centre stage, or in layered, bespoke compositions thanks to the flexibility offered by combinations of lamps and individual Lodes canopies.
