DALLAS – October 2, 2026 — ArchLIGHT Summit has opened its 2027 call for speakers, inviting lighting designers, architects, specifiers, engineers, and educators to submit proposals for the seventh annual event, taking place June 22–23, 2027, at Dallas Market Center. Exhibitor registration for the newly expanded edition is also now open. The deadline to submit a speaker proposal is January 15.
THE 2027 THEME
Preference will be given to sessions that focus on the 2027 theme, “From Design Intent to Real World Application,”which explores how lighting ideas move from concept and specification through collaboration, installation, commissioning, and into successful, human-centered spaces.
Educational programming will center on case studies and real-world applications for lighting and design solutions. Unique presentations relevant to the show’s audience of lighting specifiers, architects, interior designers, and engineers will be prioritized. Sessions that move beyond traditional presentations are highly preferred, favoring experiential learning and collaborative discussion formats.
Accepted speakers receive full access to both days of the show, unlimited CEUs, and promotional visibility for themselves and their firms. For speakers traveling from outside the region, travel and hotel accommodations will be supported.

TWO PROGRAMS, ONE SUBMISSION
The DALI Alliance — the organization behind an internationally standardized protocol for digital communication between lighting-control devices — will again co-locate with ArchLIGHT Summit in 2027, hosting its North America summit onsite. Speakers submitting a proposal will also have the option to be considered for the DALI Summit program.

NEW DATES AS PART OF LIGHTING WEEK
As was previously announced, ArchLIGHT Summit will move from September to June in 2027 as part of Lighting Week at Dallas Market Center, uniting the commercial, architectural, decorative, and residential lighting communities in a single week of education, product discovery, sourcing, and connection.
ArchLIGHT Summit runs Tuesday, June 22 and Wednesday, June 23, 2027, overlapping with Lightovation, June 23–26, 2027, and its Design + Build Day on June 22, 2027.
ArchLIGHT Summit will also debut in newly redeveloped space on the 9th Floor of the World Trade Center, offering dedicated, customizable space for exhibits, activations, and education.
CEU OPPORTUNITIES AND EVENTS
Attendees can gain insights into lighting design, technology, and sustainability while earning CEU credits toward their 2027 professional requirements, with sessions suited to all skill levels.
Additional highlights include events sponsored by industry associations and media, offering networking with association members and editors, along with hosted food and beverage events and educational experiences held inside Dallas Market Center’s permanent lighting showrooms.

Before ArchLIGHT Summit’s June debut, the winter edition of the semi-annual Lightovation show returns January 6–9, 2027. It will be preceded by Design + Build Day on January 5, 2027, featuring hospitality design-focused programming, networking and tours in partnership with INTERIOR DESIGN magazine.
