On May 21, 2024, the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) announced the elevation of 40 members to its prestigious Council of Fellows. This recognition is among the highest honors ASLA bestows, celebrating members’ exceptional contributions to the field and society, focusing on their works, leadership, knowledge, and service. ASLA President SuLin Kotowicz highlighted the fellows’ significant impact on resilience, sustainability, community enhancement, and human well-being.
ASLA CEO Torey Carter-Conneen emphasized the role of landscape architects in fostering connected and resilient communities. He extended warm thanks to the new class of ASLA Fellows for their exemplary work and accomplishments. The new fellows will be honored at a special investiture ceremony during the ASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture in Washington, D.C., from October 6-9, 2024.
