Modular Downlighting System Engineered to Solve Problems
Carson, CA – June 24, 2021 – DMF Lighting, the leader in modular downlighting, launches the next generation of the DRD Series. Built on DMF’s award-winning modular foundation, this new downlighting system sets the standard in performance and flexibility. The culmination of two years of engineering, it is designed to solve common problems specifiers encounter. “We’ve stayed up for hours, so our customers don’t have to,” said Vice President of Engineering Rushi Kumar.
The next generation DRD Series is engineered for ultimate flexibility and now covers 98% of downlighting use cases. A single housing accommodates fixed, adjustable, or wall wash downlighting, lumen output from 750 to 1250, 120/277 voltage regulation, and 1% dimming with TRIAC/ELV or 0-10V. This versatile solution is designed to keep up with the fast-paced and ever-changing nature of projects.
The DRD Series features an integrated driver developed in-house to optimize performance, ensure reliability and create a compact form factor for easy installation and maintenance. The integrated driver is available with built in quick connects for Triac/ELV or 0-10V dimming. The module has undergone extensive testing and incorporates patented Twist and Lock trims to eliminate light leak and trim sag. The modules also tout tool-free field changeable optics from 15 to 90+ degrees.
