The IES San Francisco Light! Design Expo returned to Pier 27 on San Francisco’s historic Embarcadero on Sept 21.
The well attended event welcomed over 140 exhibitors from throughout the US.
As the sole architectural lighting show in Northern California, it once again succeeded in bringing together enthusiastic specifiers anxious to see the latest, greatest products on the market.
Heavily supported by the California rep community, agency sponsors included: Cal Lighting, ALR, Sixteen5hundred, Lighting Systems, Archetype, Well Lit Co., Healy Mattos, Inc., Wunder Lighting & Controls and DZ Cook.
Industry partners included: AIA San Francisco, American Society of Interior Designers, IES San Francisco Section, IIDA Northern California chapter and Women in Lighting Design (WILD).
The show offered complimentary admission for all attendees and complimentary attendance at four AIA, IDCC and IES accredited seminars.
Attendees and exhibitors were also treated to free food, dessert and coffee from local San Francisco food trucks.
Heading up the show were Zakiya Usinosantiago, chief coordinator along with Linda Carrillo, director, Light! Design Expo.

Borden commented: “This was our first year exhibiting at Light! Design Expo. Even though we don’t currently have representation in Northern California, the interest from attendees in Verozza’s products was evident. We’ll definitely participate at this showcase again!”
