This October, Sighte Studio, the driving force behind the Gowanus Lighting Project, is embarking on a fascinating exploration of Gowanus’ after-dark transformation. They are conducting a series of in-depth lighting surveys to create a 2023 “snapshot” of the neighborhood’s evolving nightscape. These findings will be compared to the 2018 survey results, which will provide insight into the remarkable changes that have taken place.
