On December 14 the IES will hold a webinar hosted by Emlyn Altman and Chip Israel from the IES Hospitality Lighting Committee, this webinar delves into the crucial role of lighting in hospitality projects. The focus will be on the ANSI/IES RP-9 Hospitality Lighting Recommended Practice manual, showcasing how effective lighting enhances guests’ experiences, influences their perceptions of a hotel’s quality, and contributes to its charm. Emlyn Altman, with a background in lighting, architecture, and design, shares her expertise gained from various projects, notably in hospitality lighting. Chip Israel, a seasoned lighting designer and industry leader, emphasizes the integration of lighting systems with architectural designs. Both presenters have extensive experience and are committed to educating and promoting excellence in lighting design through seminars, technical papers, and global presentations. The webinar aims to guide attendees through the world of hospitality illumination, emphasizing the importance of lighting in creating lasting positive impressions for guests.
