● Provide direction on lighting design and system selections with respect to providing owners with spaces that are comfortable to work within
● Manage the day-to-day lighting related design project elements across the North America market

Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Lighting Designer 2, you will have the opportunity to:

● Provide complete lighting concepts and designs, luminaire selections, presentation development, photometric lighting calculations and renderings, BIM/Model production, lighting controls, energy and economic calculations, and specifications.
● Working with architectural project teams on all aspects of the art, science and business of lighting design in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
● Perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering specializing in Lighting Design or closely related field
● 5 years of experience in field of architecture lighting design, devoted majority of professional time to the practice of architectural lighting design
● Strong computer skill using AGI32, Revit and Microsoft Office
● Interest in sustainable design
● Strong verbal communication skills
● Excellent organization and time management skills
● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
● Able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
● An attitude and commitment to be an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

● Master's degree in Architectural Engineering specializing in Lighting Design
● Advanced Computer Skills using Adobe Creative Suite, 3Ds Max, Sketch-up, Enscape, Rhino, Grasshopper, Lady Bub, Honeybee, DIVAPE or able to obtain
● Preference will be given to local candidates.
