JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Lighting Designer to join our architectural lighting design team. A successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering successful projects from schematic design through completed construction. This candidate would be able to work independently with little direction from the Studio Leaders and Creative Director.

Daily responsibilities for this role include developing redlines for design documentation, managing timelines, attending meetings and site visits, and scheduling in-house design reviews with the Studio Leaders and the Creative Director.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree required in Interior Design, Architecture, or Lighting Design
• 6+ years of experience in Architectural Lighting Design
• AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Revu Bluebeam, Agi32 or other light modelling software, COMCheck or other energy compliancy software
• Familiarity with ASHRAE/IES 90.1 Standards, IES Standards and Guidelines and LEED Standards relative to Lighting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• On-site experience required
• Must have completed projects
• Ability to travel nationally and globally preferred but not required
• Understanding proposals, project fees and billing schedules
• Hand drawing skills are a plus
• Must be fluent in written and spoken English

SALARY RANGE: $75K-$80K + Generous Benefits

Essential Job Functions

• Demonstrates ingenuity and creativity

We are actively recruiting a talented Interior Lighting Designer to work with our Design Studio in our Dallas office to support major projects in market sectors including Aviation, Corporate, Workplace, Healthcare, K-12 and Higher Education. Qualifications

Qualified designers already exhibit these strengths and talents:
