Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement lighting schemes for various projects, including commercial, residential, hospitality, and institutional spaces.
- Work closely with architects, interior designers, and project managers to ensure that lighting is an integral part of the overall design vision.
- Develop lighting concepts and create detailed lighting plans, specification for light fixtures and control systems, and zoning diagrams.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in lighting design, architecture, interior design, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in lighting design, with a focus on commercial and institutional spaces.
- Strong knowledge of lighting design principles, as well as lighting technologies and trends.
- Proficiency in lighting design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and AGI.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other members of the design team.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and manage junior lighting designers.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Ability to travel to Texas area on a quarterly basis at minimum.

Role Description:
This is a full-time role as a Lighting Designer at Morlights. As a Designer, you will work with the Morlights staff to design and facilitate the documentation for lighting designs produced by our office. You will work with the team to develop and manage the luminaire selections, drafting, sketches, schedules, and details. As a designer, you will be exposed to various design problems that require creative solutions. Founded in London in 2018, FARO explores the aesthetic, functional, and emotional dimensions of light in a wide variety of projects, including art installations, lighting design for events and experiences, lighting for performing arts, and architectural lighting.

We are looking for an intern to be involved in light-based projects that include art installations, lighting for fashion, commercial events, and performing arts.
The successful applicant will be working under the supervision of one of the studio directors, gaining an interesting insight into our multidisciplinary creative process, and developing spatial and lighting design skills both from studio work and on-site experience.
Required qualifications

Position Overview:
ALD Lighting seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lighting Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4-7+ years of professional experience, a strong background in design with technical understanding, client interfacing, and project management. Role Responsibilities:
As a Senior Lighting Designer, you will be considered a first-level project manager. Your responsibilities will include leading projects, coordinating client meetings, and advancing project design. You will also be entrusted with managing projects. In your role, you will:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their lighting design needs and preferences, providing expert advice and solutions
- Develop and present creative and innovative lighting concepts and designs tailored to client requirements
- Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite to present ideas, produce detailed lighting plans, and documentation for projects
- Utilize AGI to photometrically model and test designs
