Key Responsibilities:

Role Description:
This is a full-time role as a Lighting Designer at Morlights. As a Designer, you will work with the Morlights staff to design and facilitate the documentation for lighting designs produced by our office. You will work with the team to develop and manage the luminaire selections, drafting, sketches, schedules, and details. As a designer, you will be exposed to various design problems that require creative solutions. FARO is a multidisciplinary art and design studio that uses light as the primary medium to create experiences and transform spaces. Founded in London in 2018, FARO explores the aesthetic, functional, and emotional dimensions of light in a wide variety of projects, including art installations, lighting design for events and experiences, lighting for performing arts, and architectural lighting.

We are looking for an intern to be involved in light-based projects that include art installations, lighting for fashion, commercial events, and performing arts.

In the role of Senior Lighting Designer, we'll count on you to:

- Work with project teams on all aspects of the art, science and business of lighting design

Require advanced written, verbal communication and problem-solving skills. Qualified candidates will have experience and basic knowledge of lighting design, technology, theory principles and possess minimum skill in AutoCAD 2019, eLume/Revit 2023/BIM360 and AGI 32.
