Your Impact
- Under general supervision, provides technical support for project designers with the production of lighting projects.
- Collaborate and coordinate with internal project discipline team members and external equipment vendors and manufacturers.
- Work within multi-discipline project teams to develop drawing and specification documents for issuance to architects, contractors and building owners.
- Assist with executing controls design of complex projects.
- Assist with performing construction administration tasks.
- Assist with performing basic professional lighting design work relating to conducting research and inspections of proposed and existing site conditions, equipment, layout, and systems to determine conformance with applicable standards and codes.
- Assist with basic technical assistance on various design, installation, and integration issues relating to creating state of the art lighting design that is innovative and inspiring, developing luminaire and controls specifics, applying daylighting/harvesting, and creating spaces that impact building capabilities, ambiance, safety, and security.
- Assist with generating complete, accurate, and concise documentation and specifications using electronic systems, artistic renderings, drawings, diagrams, illustrations, spreadsheets, and reports.
- Perform lighting calculations and analysis and use results to inform project decisions.
- Document lighting layouts and controls design in Revit and/or CADD.
- Assist in lighting mock-ups and design presentations.
- Complete training on assigned tasks.
