Job Description
- Under general supervision, provides technical support for project designers with the production of lighting projects.
- Assist with performing basic professional lighting design work relating to conducting research and inspections of proposed and existing site conditions, equipment, layout, and systems to determine conformance with applicable standards and codes.
- Assist with basic technical assistance on various design, installation, and integration issues relating to creating state of the art lighting design that is innovative and inspiring, developing luminaire and controls specifics, applying day lighting/harvesting, and creating spaces that impact building capabilities, ambiance, safety, and security.
- Assist with generating complete, accurate, and concise documentation and specifications using electronic systems, artistic renderings, drawings, diagrams, illustrations, spreadsheets, and reports.
- Perform lighting calculations, analysis and rendering studies and use results to inform project decisions.
- Document lighting layouts in Revit and/or CADD.
- Assist in lighting mock-ups and design presentations.
- Complete training on assigned tasks.
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Compensation
- Expected Salary: $87,400 - $125,000

Account Executive - Event Lighting and Production Services

Location: NH seacoast on the Massachusetts border 45 minutes north of Boston.

Responsibilities include:

- Lead, and distribute incoming workload to a group of project managers/lighting designers to ensure a consistent high-quality service and a great client experience.
- Provide leadership and guidance for the team members in the group.

Lead your group to:

- Work with clients from the initial meeting through the end of the event to produce an end result that meets or exceeds the client's expectations.
- Prepare quotations, lighting designs, plots, renderings, and pre-visualizations.
- Collaborate with the operations and warehouse teams to ensure timely communication of logistics such as on-site crew counts, detailed equipment lists, and travel
arrangements.
- Lead on-site crews to safely install, operate, and remove all required technical systems.
Requirements include:

- Minimum of 5 years experience working as a lighting lead in the entertainment lighting industry.
- Proficiency in Vectorworks and Lightwright, programming and operation of moving, LED, and conventional lights on Grand MA 3, EOS, and Hog 4 level consoles or
equivalent. The ability to create renderings and pre-visualization videos is a plus.
- Strong leadership, and communication skills and a team player, passion for the entertainment lighting industry, and excellent client-facing skills.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and long hours.
- Ability to remain professional and efficient while working under pressure.
- Knowledge of safety requirements and procedures related to event lighting and production services.
- OSHA 10 certification (PORT will provide training if needed).
- Mobile Elevated Work Platform certification (PORT will provide training if needed).
- Comfortable working on ladders and in lifts at heights of 20 feet or more.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing and ability to pass a DOT physical and background check.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Basic Requirements:

-Four year degree required.
-Theatrical Design, Architecture or Interior Design degree preferred
