Role description

- Act as lighting designer and project manager for National and International projects.
- Be available as a lighting designer resource for projects.
- Follow-up with clients/meetings
- Follow-up and provide coordination for projects
- Client relations on a day-to-day basis
- Create presentation documents
- Perform AGI / photometric calculations
- Capable to a mid level of producing CAD and Revit drawings and all documents related to lighting
- Photoshop and InDesign
- Design and developing project specifications,
- Producing and managing project deliverables (ie working drawings, plans, technical
specifications, costs, etc.,
- Produce line drawing / control diagram, understanding DMX and dimming protocol,
- Coordinate team and client meetings,
- Effectively communicating relevant project information to superiors,

Develop lighting design concepts in collaboration with other team members and Principal.
Attend project meetings and coordinate effectively with clients, consultants and contractors.
Maintain internal project schedules, verifying work is in conformance with contract obligations and project budgets.
Direct and oversee the work of junior design team members.
Perform/review lighting photometric calculations and energy code compliance forms.
Develop thoughtful presentations and visual materials to convey lighting concepts and strategy.
Take responsibility for preparing and delivering complete lighting design deliverables.
Perform construction administration tasks such as the review of submittals and RFIs.
Create and test mock-ups of lighting design strategies.
Contribute to the improvement and development of studio design and operation standards.
Maintain an advanced knowledge of current lighting design trends, techniques and technology.

Work under the guidance of a more-senior designer, and work with architectural project teams on all aspects of the art, science and business of lighting design

Required Qualifications
